In the first book, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Katniss shows love towards Petea (2nd main character and fake lover) because that was the only way to keep them both alive but Petea didn't know till the end of the book and once he found out he felt heart broken and betraded and now in the second book their relationship has been akward and not the same. Her actions not only affected their relationship but it affected their trust towards others and in the second book, Katniss shows how much she messed up but she didn't do to hurt him she did because she was obligated . And this is how life is once you did something towards someone, it csn either affect your relatioship with that person or it cn affect you.
If you read the first book you know that Katniss took out posion berries at the end of the hunger games for her and Petea, well by doing this, it affected all of the districts and captial. When people watched her do that, the leaders of the captial were furious because they knew that her action was a big mistake and it could affect the way people saw them. So in the second book, Katniss hears about an uprising in district 8 and has a feeling that if she were to kill herself during the games and let Petea win, none of this would be happening and that nobody would be dying and she feels like its all her fault. Sometimes your actions can become regrets but sometimes they can become as lessons in your life and can be really helpful.
In conclusion, people just need to be careful on what they do and say becuase one day it might affect someone's life or yours. I know that The Hunger Game Series is not a series you might relate too but if you read it, it might change your mind but one thing you need to know is to just read it closely.
Good job! I love how you really understood the importance of the two books in the series you read so far.
